all factors aside, i would feel it a moral obligation to buy a product that my father builds at chrysler, or even any american car for that fact. It's the best you can do, unless you really do want to support other companies. And dont start giving me a history lesson on chrysler either dipshit, i know how to read. i like foreign cars, and i think americans just need to realize that foreign can finally compete with cars in our market. Whats your point? Yeah $100,000 is a lot of money but when you compare the ZR1's competition that is dirt cheap. An Audi R8 costs over $100K and its actually slower in the quarter mile than the new Camaro SS for $31K. The ZR1 (like all Corvettes) is not just an amazing for its speed but jaw dropping for the speed you get for the price. Brakes pulled from a $1M supercar, $60K a gallon paint, suspension tech Ferrari bought from GM it was so good, etc. All come stock and under warranty.

But its still a modified corvette the purpose of street racing in particular is to run with any car that challenges.....so I think my point still rests with a modified civic, a modified supra, whatever. Any car could be made to smoke the corvette in a 3/4 mile. Fuck the overall ratings.
