Yeah, sometimes luck does play a role to some degree. But its not the end all, be all equation. Some people create their own luck through pure talent, hard work and dedication. Charices voice is a unique talent that transcends ethnical boundaries. Unlike some pop singers in her native Philippines, when compared to other singers in my country ,are a dime a dozen.

@fabilioh9 ... lol ... I have no problem with people making their money overseas. I am one of them. I checked my comment, and there's nothing there saying I have problems with overseas Filipinos. And luck has nothing to do with it. It's talent and hard work. Look at Miley Cyrus, she is not the greatest singer, but she knows how to perform. Does not hurt that she has a well known and talented father of course.
