I had my dad come onboard for a tiger cruise when I was on the Vinson. Unfortunately, I worked in the reactor area so he wasn't allowed there. Not everyone's tiger gets to see what they do...sucks when you work in the pit.

Yep! Altice went out of his way to stay in contact with that player with e-mails and phone calls. He attended the parenting class on board The guy did as much as one could do while being deployed and even talked with his fellow "Shipmates" for valued input. He took TOTAL responsibility for what was thought to be a great future with that player. For that I admire him!

Yeah it sucks. This happen more often to the Mr. nice guys. With age, women often realize how good they had it after they start to loose their options. By then is too late. Like they say: What goes around comes around.

Well, I did a little homework and managed to get a short note off to Chris Altice. I guess things are seriously looking up for him. He is going to college, playing hockey and he says he has an "Awesome" girlfriend. PERFECT, a Happy Ending!
