Of course they don't sound like Nirvana or Pearl Jam, but they tried to cash in on the northwestern explosion. They even Steve Albini to work on their album. It's not like this is news or anything. I just think it's pathetic how people somehow think Bush is a credible alt rock band.

mrbiggs, if Kurt Cobain didn't fucking kill himself then there might be more to say. but he did and to me Bush was almost a continuation of Nirvana although not exactly and had none of their band members. At least it was someone making a lot of good songs unlike all the crappy creed clones coming out post 1996. bands like that nearly entirely ruined alternative rock by 2005. I don't see that bush caused these types of problems.
