Sorry, Karen, that is not my cup of tea. Tuna, salmon shrimp is my limit, I used to love fish, but I worry about mercury. Sorry state of afish. Love you vids.

That mixed plate looked tasty. The Snails - not so much. But you know what they say "When in Rome do as the Romans do" I guess that applies to Venice & the food they eat! During my visits to Venice, I've noticed that every time I go more and more of the masks are made in China as the old Venetian men are dying & their families are not continuing the traditions. If you have been looking at a mask - buy it! They will be priceless in a few years! The same applies for the little clowns! Have Fun!

@SirReptitious Calamari is squid not octopus..... unless you are just saying to cook the octopus the same way as calamari.... then yeah that would be tasty most likely..

There's only one way to eat octopus, and that's to take just the legs, bread them, fry them, and eat them as calamari. The heads you don't eat; from any animal. That's just gross. ;-p I have to admit that you certainly are adventurous about food if you are willing to eat part of an octopus head...
